A Blue Moon at Last

We all know the expression about something only happening once upon a blue moon but how long have I been waiting to actually see one? Well, it it seems as though there is one coming along soon. So what kind of thing only happens once in a blue moon anyway? Maybe one or two of the following.

A Ferrari gets beat in a race against vintage snowmobiles, for example. I would love to see this kind of race set up, with maybe a steamroller against a fire engine as well. Formula 1 got really boring when all my heroes retired to this kind of alternative racing event could be good once in a blue moon.

Wouldn’t it be great if they make road marking paint when a blue moon is due. Maybe there are some places in the world where they use blue paint on the roads already but I have yet to see them. If they could make thse stupid double yellow lines a different colour as well I would be happy and could park with a bit more confidence.

Once upon a blue moon a team of Spanish goats could take on goats from other countries in some sort of goat based olympics. Events such as rubbish eating and annoying people would be fasincating to watch. I have no idea which country’s goats would win, which would make this a very exciting event to watch.

The day I try the Beyonce Knowles diet you can be sure that there is a blue coloured natural satellite over the Earth. It is not that I have anything in particular against diets (or even Beyonce). I just have no staying power for diets and the chance of me looking like Ms Knowles after a few weeks are incredibly slight no matter what colour the moon happens to be.
