Is there any worse feeling that sitting there and feeling your heart race away and your brain tick over due to stress? Actually, there must be lots of worse things but let’s concentrate on the stress for a few minutes. If you have started feeling stressed and anxious what can you do about it?
Get into the Garden. I was going to come up with some ridiculous situations like I normally do but then felt that, hey, maybe I can really reach out and help someone here. I am not sure it will last for the whole blog but let’s go with the flow. Personally, I find the garden a great place to relax in. Get a chair, a cool drink, a good book and you can spend all day surrounded by landscaping shrubs and good vibrations.
Drink Some Coffee. I think I read once that coffee is bad for stress levels. Yeah, sure it must be if you gulp down dozens of cups of the stuff with your shaky hands while your caffeine filled blood fires around your body. However, I like to settle down with just one lovely coffee or capuccino once or twice a week. I find a spare hour and head off to my favourite cafe with a good book and nothing else to do but read and sup. If you want to do it at home then you could check out some Keurig coffee maker reviews and do it yourself.
Find a Hobby. Maybe you could collect coins, make spaceships out of Lego, make some wood furniture or make your own cheese. These are all good hobbies to bust the stress.I like the sound of all of them so I’m not sure which one I would start off with.
Love the Feel of wood shavings. Does anyone else love the feel of wood shavings?. The only problem is that I don’t have a plane or a chisel or whatever tool it is that produces them. Maybe the local carpenter will sell me some and I can bathe myself in them like a low budget version of Cleopatra and her asses milk baths. If it kept her stress free and young looking then it has got to be worth a go.
