It is now quite clear that I have a bit of an obssession with time travelling. I believe this all started due to an experience I had in 2019 but what really matters now is that I don’t need to do it.
No, it seems that some clever scientists have come up a way of predicting the future by looking at old newspapers and wikipedia. There is possibly more to it than I have just said but you get my drift. Anyway, I decided to make some predictions of my own, using whatever old newspaper or magazine I can find.
Could I find a secret from looking at a woodcrafting magazine? Well, one thing I would find out right away that in the future I will not be doing a lot of woodcrafting. It needs the kind of patience I simply don’t have. My daughter on the other hand, loves making things and will at some point in the future build me a beautiful log cabin from scratch.
What does the future hold for North Carolina furniture? I have absolutely no idea but I just found an old National Geographic article about the area. I can’t see many pieces of furnishing in the pictures but it looks like a lovely area. The article is from a few decades ago so instead of looking into the future I would quite like to see what its like now.
What will the best-coffee-maker be in 2113? I quite like the one I use now but I do remember reading about how we will be able to control them from miles away using our smart phones or possibly through some form of rudimentary thought projection. In fact, maybe everyone else already does this and I am the only person who needs to use their hands to make coffee.
The thought of fast growing trees in the future worries me. If they shoot up to the sky so quickly then might they end up blocking the sun? My old National Geographic didn’t speak about this possibility but it is definitely one to look out for.
