I don’t know about you but I like to roll out of bed in the morning, look at the clock and then grumble about it being too early. Actually, when I put it like that it isn’t really a great way to start the day, is it? Let’s try and find a better way for me to start my days with a smile on my face and a spring in my step.
I had never thought about outdoor kitchen designs before but what a great way to get going in the morning. A breeze of warm, early morning air is sure to blow away my cobwebs and get me going. As long as it doesn’t get too draughty and blow my cornflakes all over the place of course.
Do I want the best coffee maker I can find? Why yes, yes I surely do. I love a big mug of something steaming hot in the morning and the quicker I can get it on my table the better. Never trust anyone who doesn’t eat breakfast is what I always say. Actually, it’s the first time I have ever said it but it won’t be the last. I must have skipped this meal about three times in my whole life and ended up regretting it every time.
One of the first things I do in the morning is slip on my sandals (no slippers for me yet). However, I can’t help thinking that a pair of bamboo shoes would be even better. I don’t even know what these bad boys are like and whether they are comfortable or not but the name alone is good enough for me. I better get a couple of pairs in case a stray panda wanders past and eats one of them I suppose.
Although I live somewhere which is warm most of the year there are two or three months of the year which are freezing cold. Even my new bamboo shoes aren’t likely to keep me warm until I can guzzle down my hot coffee. At times likes these I need some electric heaters around the place. I always think that it would be a waste of money because the cold season is short, but this year it is definitely time to sort things out.
This is perhaps a less reasonable suggestion but wouldn’t it be great to have a spin round the old garden of a morning? If I got hold of some go karts for sale I could do a couple of laps of the patio before my coffee is ready. I am not sure if my bamboo shoes are ideal for handling such a vehicle but I am happy to give it a try.
