Any readers who have a toddler in their house will know that finding free time for a new hobby is completely and utterly impossible. I tend to just laugh when someone suggests to me that I could go the gym or start cooking more. Anyway, now the little angel has started nursery I might have some time to do something at last, like the following.
I could start making and fixing clothes. I see an entry for an omega sewing machine. I have never used a machine for sewing and I am guessing that it is incredibly easy to do. Am I in any way wrong?
I could also look at local thermoplastic suppliers to let me, err what would they actually let me do? I see that they are there to help with all of my injection moulding needs but I didn’t realise that I had any. Moulding injections (or injecting moulds?) sounds quite good fun and I might give it a go sometime.
With the right soap making supplies I could make some soap. I have often wondered about this hobby. Ok, so I have wondered about it once or twice then. What do you do with all of the soap you make if you get really caught up in it? I mean, there is only so much soap one can use in a month, unless you make showering another new hobby.
I haven’t played football (soccer) in a while but with the right soccer socks I could yet make a comeback. A nice pair which make me feel good and help me play like a footballing genius should be easy to find, shouldn’t they?
Maybe I could get hold of some road marking paint and have some fun with it. As a kid I used to watch the road marking machines roll past the house and wish that I could do the same job. It might sound weird but it just looked so interesting. I now live in a city with very few road markings I would actually be doing the place a favour at the same time.
